PROCESS WORK
Outline
In Week 2, Mr. Hafiz taught us to trace out the shapes that were provided using the pen tool and to form a unique character out of them. Right off the bat one of the shapes reminded me of tentacles. So I decided to base my character off an octopus-like creature.
Figure 1.5: Forming the outline
Colour
In the process of colouring, the character was initially meant to be blue but I figured if I were to add water in the background it would look too blue. So I decided to go with a light shade of purple with a few compliments of blue so that it looks more like a character that lives underwater. Figure 1.6: Colouring
Effects and Filters
I added effects on the character's main body to give it some texture. I also added half circles using the pen tool onto the tentacles to give it a more animated look. In addition, I added a drop shadow so that parts of the character stands out more and its easier to visualise its form.

Pokemon CardIn this process, I added a background for my character. I decided to make it a Ghost and Water Pokemon that lives underwater.
