PROCESS WORK
To begin my work process, I prepared the content that includes my personal details, work experience, skills and other relevant projects. This helps me plan out the hierarchy of the information when creating my layout.

Layout
Before starting my process on Adobe XD, I created a template of the layout I wanted to create so I have a better understanding when using the software later on. I found some references online so I could gain more ideas. These are the templates I came up with:

Mood Board
After going through fonts on Google Font, I have decided to go with Crimson Pro as my font family. The colour palette I have chosen correlates to a visual identity project from Advanced Typography because I want to include the illustration into my resume.

Digitization (Adobe XD)
For my 'header', I included my picture and my visual identity logo that I did for Advanced Typography, the project revolves around portraying my personality with letterforms, which is why it makes sense to me to add it to my resume. I also placed the 'about me' section and my contact details to group up my personal information together. I found that the background was too bland so I added an element to emphasise the texts.

Figure 1.6: Header

I placed the education and skills section first because in most resumes that I have studied, they would prioritise their education. I included my skills on the side because I have developed these skills through my education.

To place the rest of the information, I wanted there to be elements that complemented my header. So I explored with the shapes, the background and font colour as well as the placements.

Graphical Elements
I added icons to my contact information to indicate that it is my email, phone number and residential area. I felt like the education was too empty, therefore I included the circles and lines to imply the timeline. For the skills section, I added a skill bar to portray my expertise for each section. Then, I added quarter circles to some sections to complement the letterforms from my visual identity.
