TASK 1: PROPOSAL DEVELOPMENT
For task 1, we are required to prepare a set of things that is part of our process for the overall project. 

Our expected deliverables are:
  • Project Title/Group Name/Project Development Plan
  • Problem/Project Aim/Target Users
  • How Might We (HMW) Statement
  • Prepare Interview Questions
  • Conduct Interviews (3 participants per group member)
  • Affinity Diagram for user insights based on interview
Our group used FigJam for team collaboration and raw data, this will assist us with brainstorming ideas together and eventually help compile our work later on.


Interview Questions
My main responsibility for task 1 is to draft up interview questions before  my team and I conduct the interviews with 3 participants each.

After receiving feedback in Week 2, I made a few alterations to the interview questions. Question 6-9 from the draft remains. I then shared the finalized questions with my team to ensure the questions are relevant then we could proceed with conducting our individual interviews.

Interview
After finalizing the questions, I continued with finding 3 participants for my interview. Some were held through an online meeting and some were in person. I recorded the session for me to refer back to and analyze for our Affinity Diagram. 


Interview Results
Tracy created a template for our group to transcribe our interview responses. This makes it easier to categorize our participants' answers and combine them for analysis.

Affinity Diagram
Before compiling our final Affinity Diagram, I created my own for my team to refer back to on FigJam. After my team has completed theirs, we will compare our diagrams to establish the overall user needs.

WEEK 1 - 05/02/25
Proceed with task 1 for Pet Adopt and Care Application.

WEEK 2 - 12/02/25
Revise project timeline based on reference pictures. For target users, focus more on individuals who have adopted before and potential adopters. Add 2 more statements for HMW and as for the interview questions, question 6 to question 9 is usable. However for the rest, try to direct the question towards the application itself.
